生日他最大！洛磯隊29歲「菜鳥」Stephen Cardullo今天度過他最難忘的生日，因為他一日兩戰都開轟，大聯盟生涯第1、2轟都出爐，誰說29歲不能進步！
這位從28歲變成29歲的Cardullo，攤開他的棒球生涯，除了2010年起有在小聯盟出賽外，最特別的是他幾乎都在獨立聯盟打拚，2014、2015年球季，他在加拿大美國聯盟打拚。
但這都跟大聯盟沾不上邊，直到他今年簽下小聯盟約，獲邀參加洛磯隊春訓，並在3A打擊率3成08，17轟才被注意到，並在26日登上大聯盟舞台。
今天他在雙重賽對道奇情趣睡衣隊首戰以代打上陣，他在7局下接替Rusin，轟出大聯盟首支全壘打，洛磯隊最終以7:0獲勝。
沒想到雙重賽第二場，他以先發上陣更猛，1局下就擊出滿貫砲，這對他來說真是難忘的生日經驗。
Cardullo表示：「這是個很特別的經驗，或許我生日的第一支全壘打就是大聯盟首轟這絕對會是難忘的經驗。」
